With the fantastic work being done to launch Royal Caribbean’s private island CocoCay in the Bahamas, we needed an exceptional port experience page in the app to accompany this incredible island. In this project we created a port page right in the royal Caribbean App for guests traveling to CocoCay to dive into the island at the tip of their fingers with an interactive map showcasing the attractions and excursions at of the island, weather and transportation information, and more…

Final Design
The final design included most of the components from the conceptual design, but we toned down the animations and interactions and did a more simple scroll view for the page to account for possible poor internet connection in the island or at sea.
The Map
We worked with the team to implement a full interactive map so users can navigate the island and find attractions. The map was a huge success and the team plans to add more features such as wayfinding, location tracking, and more.
